Novelos Out-Licenses China Rights for Two Compounds

Novelos Therapeutics has out-licensed the China rights for two compounds, which are aimed at treating cancer and hepatitis patients, to Lee’s Pharmaceutical Ltd. (HK: 8221) of Hong Kong. Lee’s Pharma will be responsible for all clinical development, regulatory filings and commercialization of the compounds in China. Both compounds were originally developed in Russia, and they are approved for use there, where they have been administered to over 10,000 patients.
